Can children take part in AstroLaPalma’s experiences?

Yes. Many of our experiences are suitable for families.

In general, we recommend our stargazing experiences for children aged 4 and over. There is no maximum age for enjoying astronomy, but it is important to remember that many of the explanations are designed for a general audience and may be difficult for younger children to follow.

Every child is different. If your child is curious about the night sky, enjoys looking through a telescope and is happy to spend time outdoors during the experience, they will most likely have an unforgettable evening.

For the Roque de los Muchachos Observatory Tour, children under the age of 6 are not permitted, as access to the professional telescopes is subject to specific safety regulations.

If you are unsure which experience is best for your family, please contact us. We will be happy to help you choose the option that best suits your needs.
