Stargazing. Eta Aquarids meteor shower (april 2021)
Would you like to enjoy the stars on the island of La Palma? We are organising this special astro event to observe the Eta Aquarids meteor shower as well as we offer the opportunity to stargaze and observe clusters, stars, nebulae on a telescope. In this case we are ready to enjoy the Lyrids, a meteor shower with very fast meteors that will surely delight everyone who can see them.
Meteor showers are usually caused by the remains of a comet. In this case, the Eta Aquarids meteor shower is caused by the debris left behind by the comet Halley as it approaches the sun. This debris of rock and dust particles burns up in contact with the Earth’s atmosphere and creates what we see as shooting stars.
If you want to do a guided stargazing and also to see the Lyrids, book this event with us at the link. We look forward to seeing you.
Would you like to observe one of the best skies in the world? Join us this astronomy event!
